The club's range of hill-walking is vast and varied. From the moorlands of North Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Staffordshire on day meets, to the rocky ridges of the Isle of Skye and the Lake District on away meets.

Some of the great feats of recent years include completing a round of Snowdon and the Moelwyns (37 km with c. 3000m of ascent), The Buttermere Round (35km with c. 3500m of ascent), The Skye Ridge, Marsden to Edale, a night walk from Penistone to Stoney Middleton and several circumnavigations of Kinder Scout.

If these sound too much, there is always a group tackling an easier route purely for enjoyment. Such as walks along Derwent edge and ascents of the mountains of Wales, England and Scotland.
